For me, caring for cars was personal long before it was a business.
I have always loved the design, feel, and character of a well-kept automobile — from the Toyotas I have driven for years to my enduring admiration for Porsche.
When my daughters were young, washing the family 4Runner was something we did together. It was a little lesson in pride of ownership, patience, and taking care of the things that matter.
These days Murphy occasionally rides along as a reminder that even the most carefully kept vehicle is meant to be enjoyed.
